The exact date, time and location for ORC 2009 will be determined by this Wednesday. Hopefully as early as tomorrow evening actually. The website should be up by this upcoming weekend. The address to the site will be www.oregonroleplayersforcharity.org and will be used for the event for the foreseeable future. Questions, comments, emails in order to volunteer to run games, etc, can be sent to me either through this site or by emailing oregonroleplayersforcharity [at] yahoo.com

The new website is up but has little content except for an email link to contact me if your interested in running a game for the event.
Oregon Roleplayers for Charity As more details are determined the site will be updated. I plan on a schedule of games, a gallery for photos of past events, a forum for people to post about the games they will be running and for suggestions, questions, etc. |

A little more functional already, ORC now has it's own forum. This will be the spot to ask questions and for the GM's to post about the games that they will be running. We already have six volunteers confirmed to run games.

Jim, is there a way we can contribute even if we can't make it that day? (Wedding, and all...)

Sure Jenny, but if your unable to make it down you would be better off just sending in a contribution to SMART directly. Basically we are going to turn over everything we collect directly to SMART.

Well looks like the schedule for ORC is about as full as it can get. Plenty of 4th edition D&D action (two of those games are going to be RPGA Living Forgotten Realms). A 1st edition AD&D game, Call of Cthulu, Shadowrun 4th edition, Corvus's Honeycomb Engine, LARPS by 5th Wall, the return of the Gladiator Games, and a miniature speedpainting competition. Details and times can be found on ORC's website. Make sure to check the forums there for full details.
A complete schedule should be available within the next few days. |
