Greetings fellow geeks and gamers!
I'm
looking to run some 4th Edition D&D in Southwest
Portland. At the moment, I'm considering the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of
every month at a local game shop from noon to 6p with the possibility of making it a weekly
endeavor if that is what is wanted.
In an effort to gauge interest (number of bodies, which setting,
what sort of game, will time and day work), I'll be running the
first-level adventure Into the Shadowhaunt on September
12th. I'll be available as early as noon and am hoping to roll dice by
1:30p. Pre-Gen characters will be provided but you are welcome to bring
your own first-level character if you'd like (PHB rules only, please,
so we can keep it simple for new players). I will be able to lend dice
and character miniatures to new players for this event. Even if you've
played this adventure in the past, if you're interested in finding a 4e
group and want to see what the potential may be, please stop by!
I will also be running the adventure during the upcoming Game Day
for the Dungeon Master's Guide 2 release on September 19st, with dice rolling at 1p. Pre-gen characters and
miniatures will be provided for each player to keep (assuming WotC is
keeping with the same format). I will once again be able to lend dice
to new players.
On either day, if we get enough players for two tables, there will be another DM on-hand so everyone will be able to play.
New
players, old players, players of any age group and gender are welcome
to join us! Having a copy of the PHB with you is a plus, but is not
required.
Please e-mail me for details and location of these and future games.
