Introduction
I am just getting back into RPGing after a break of about 6 years. I started running a Castles & Crusades campaign for some friends, but it is difficult to meet regularly, and I am always the GM. Hoping to find a good group I could join as a player.
How long have you been gaming?
I began playing 1st Ed. AD&D when it first came out and played thru D&D 3rd ed. DMing 3rd ed. became too much work, so I have not played in about 6 years.
How many players do you prefer in your group?
4-7
What balance do you like to see in your game towards RP and Combat? 50-50? 70-30?
Depends on how good the GM and other players are at RP. With a good group I'd go 60% RP and 40% combat.
What is your favorite class in any system? Why?
My two favorite characters were a chaotic neutral halfling thief, and a human invoker magic-user. If I can find a group to play with, I'd probably hope to play another wizard, though I'll play any class, if the group is fun.
Tell everyone about YOUR current (or ideal) game.
Current favorite game is Castles & Crusades, which combines old school AD&D feeling using classic class archetypes with modern game mechanics. Gary Gygax's last gaming material is published for C&C. Will try any game, but like fantasy RPGs the best.
