Hello to the group! My name is Russ and I mostly DM. I've been a player twice in my lifetime, just to get their perspective. Experienced with basic & expert D&D, AD&D 1st and 2nd ed., Villains & Vigilantes, Traveller, Rifts.
My current game is based on not restricting the players to a set path. Playing in alignment is rewarded and I allow any alignment (I can "creatively motivate" players). I spend a lot of time on my plots and contingency plans.
I enjoy the "Priest of a specific mythos". They reached a new level of versatility with the addition of The Priest's Handbook. But I'm as happy with four priests in my group as I am with a mix. The story should fit the players. Not vice-versa.
It is my belief that role playing games should be about role playing. Combat comes about as a logical extension of the role playing. Combat lovers can enjoy Diablo and Hellgate: London on their own. And far, far away from my campaigns.
Four is the number of players in my group and the number in my groups shall be four. Three I shall not have, unless I proceed immediately to four. Five is right out.
About 30 years. I've never been without a group. My claim to fame is that I have memorized the Random Prostitute Table from 1st ed.
Meetup: Seems active. Lots of people in attendance. Great group of people.

"Thanks for the greeting, albeit a long time ago. Somehow, I didn't get notified. Anywhoo... you memorized the random prostitute table?!? LOL That's impressive. Best I've done is to memorize the 2 letter acceptable word list for Scrabble. You don't want to play me, honestly - you don't. :D"
