It's time to have a beverage and just hang out.
Come on down to the Lucky Lab for a cold one, or to just hang out!
We'll be talking Dungeons & Dragons and Role-Playing in general.

There are a lot of new faces on the site...if you've never been to a Meetup, these Meet & Greet's are a perfect opportunity to chat up your favorite game, or just hang out with like minded individuals!

Great opportunity to find your next gaming group!

Minors welcome until 9PM, we should be out by then anyway.

Strangely enough, I was already planning a small group meet at that exact place and time, to set up a new game of 3.5E. Anyone who's interested, feel free to approach and join up, if you want to play a weekly Thursday night game.

Went, was a lot of people, Didn't know who was in charge (Eric I guess, but those I talked to didn't know Eric,) didn't know if the people were there for the meetup or something else, no signs, notices or other indications of what was going on. People seemed to be enjoying themselves, but I was at a loss as to how to join any group and those who I talked to seemed to be in perosnal groups. Sorry, I left shortly after getting there.

I should have ordered the thai peanut curry bento.
    •  Excellent discussion about philosophies of play, development of new and house rules in the game.

It was a pleasure to reconnect with some old members I haven't seen in awhile, and great to meet new folks!

This was certainly not what I expected. I thought there was going to be just conversation about RPGs and possibly gamers meeting other games so they could get to know each other and maybe start a campaign. I was not expecting boardgames. It was an ok time. I did bring my wife along, but she was really not having a good time and she left early.
    •  Didn't have much chance to meet up with the main group. We got there early and were at a different spot, so didn't see the main group. Was a little miffed that they didn't invite us to join them. But it was crowded in there, so maybe they didn't feel they had room.
    •  I joined a new D&D group! I haven't played in a group in years due to the fact that it's so hard to find gamers in Vancouver. I'm glad I took the extra effort to come and share a pint with my new buddies. Thanks!
